BANBURY Twenty skipper Dave Clark feels his side are right back in the Cherwell League title race
Victory against second-placed Oxford Downs, coupled with Aston Rowant's surprise reverse against Oxford II, has put Twenty right back in contention.

"It was a fantastic win against a very good team. We left ourselves plenty to do with the bat as 246 is a big ask from 47 overs, given the quality of their bowlers," said Clark.

"The league is wide open again as the top three teams lost, so we need to build on this result as we go into the second half of the season. Horspath will be another tough test on Saturday as they've only lost one game all season."

John Wright (48) and Tim Pearce (27) smashed 77 from the opening 15 overs before both were dismissed. Rob Hastings (28) and Clark (75) kept the scoreboard ticking over before Barry Grant (27) and Clark saw Twenty won with nine balls to spare.
