Town snap up hit-man Thorpe

PROLIFIC striker Tony Thorpe has been snapped up by Brackley Town.
Thorpe, who has hit nearly 100 goals in around 300 Football League appearances with the likes of Bristol City, Swindon Town, Grimsby Town and Luton Town, was signed on Friday by Saints boss Phil Lines from Woking.

Thorpe goes straight into the squad for today's (Saturday) BGB Southern League Premier Division clash with Cambridge City at St James Park.
