BRACKLEY Town boss Phil Lines saw his side keep their first clean sheet of the season but knows Saints need to get back to winning ways.
Saints returned from Bedford Town with a point from a 0-0 draw and take on Cambridge City at St James Park on Saturday with Lines looking for three points to climb up the BGB Southern League Premier Division table.

"It was good to keep a clean sh
eet and that was mainly down to Richard Knight, who made two excellent saves late on when we under a bit of pressure," said Lines.

"We played some good football for an hour but couldn't take our chances. A point away from home is always good but we desperately need a win. Hopefully we'll get it on Saturday against Cambridge.

"We should have had more points on the board by now but I know we're good enough to go and win more matches soon."

David Stone and Justin Marsden have departed St James Park for Nuneaton but Lines said it was for the players' benefit.

"I just felt we were a bit top heavy with strikers and both these players need to be playing regular football. They are very good players and have done nothing wrong. But I don't want to keep changing my forwards around. Ben Mackey is on contract here and Danny Spencer is my target man."
