THE new season is less than four weeks away but Banbury United boss Kieran Sullivan is already plagued by injuries to key players.
Lewis Travers is the latest player to be added to the injury-list after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Aylesbury United, joining Ben Milner, Scott Bridges and Terry Fitton on the sidelines.

"We're a bit thin on the ground at the moment with strikers. Scott Bridges is injured and Nicky Gordon is still away," said Sullivan.

"But it's giving me the chance to see other players. I've also spoken to Ricky Johnson and there's a chance for him to play in a pre-season friendly for us, if he wants to."

Sullivan was hoping to give former Rugby Town left-sided player Stefan Morley a run out in Tuesday's friendly at Bedworth United. Morley scored twice against United last season and Sullivan would love to get another left-sided player on board.
