Ground uncertainty is frustrating Sullivan

KIERAN Sullivan has admitted that the uncertainty surrounding the club's future and ground situation is not helping him when he talks to new players.
"Every time I talk to a new player the first thing they ask me is about the ground situation. All I can tell them is that we've got the ground for this season. It's not an ideal situation but I have to work within it," said Sullivan.

But Sullivan has been boosted by the news that Scott Bridges has committed himself to the club for the coming season.

And the Banbury United boss is confident he will have the rest of last season's squad on board over the next couple of weeks.

Bridges was due to sign on Tuesday night, leaving Sullivan with just Stuart Bridges and Greg Williams still to commit themselves to United.
"It's great news that Scott is staying. There is a lot more to come from him and I'm looking forward to working with him for a full season," added Sullivan.

"Stuart Bridges is working away every week at the moment and Greg Williams will be giving me an answer soon. So, hopefully, it will be just the three players – Ady Fuller, Andy Baird and Wayne Blossom – who we will have lost from last season."

The United boss is hoping to persuade two more players to join the club this week but knows that others may become available when clubs report back for pre-season training.
