THERE'S plenty to look forward to at tonight's (Thursday) pre-season friendly at St James Park, where Brackley Town entertain Northampton Town.
League One Cobblers are expected to send a strong team down the A43 and two days later Oxford United are the visitors to St James Park, where the new South Stand will be in use for the first time against Stuart Gray's side tonight.

"According to Dave Savage, Northampton are sending down the full first team squad. We will have lots of new faces on view, the new stand will be in use for the first time and the pitch looks superb, so it should be a great night," said boss Phil Lines.

"With Oxford coming here two days later, it really is two games to look forward to. I will be using all 18 players over the two games to make sure we keep the energy levels up."

Elliott Sandy has been continuing his return to fitness and taking part in most of the training with the rest of the squad.
Tonight's game is a 7.30pm kick-off and Saturday's game is a 3pm kick-off.
