TOM Breward bagged Banbury United a deserved point in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Cambridge City.
After taking a first half lead through Scott Bridges United were pegged back after the break when City scored twice in ten minutes to take a 2-1 lead through Neil Midgley and Scott Neilson before Breward grabbed a late equaliser at Spencer Stadium.

Both United's goals came from well-worked moves. They went ahead in the 13th minute when Ollie Stanbridge played in Scott Bridges with a superb through ball and he beat Zachary Barrett with a neat finish.

Joe Murrell saved well from Midgley moments later but City created few chances in the opening half. That all changed after the restart when Midgley equalised in the 52nd minute, converting at the near post from Ashley Fuller's low cross.

The equaliser had been on the cards for some time and the visitors went in front nine minutes later when the alert Neilson chipped Murrell after United failed to deal with a long ball into the box.

Murrell kept United in it with a superb save to keep out Lee Chaffey's 20-yard drive in the 69th minute and six minutes later United were back on level terms following a great piece of play. Instead clearing downfield, Murrell threw the ball out wide to Tommy Kinch, who played the ball down the line to Lewis Travers and his low cross was turned in by Breward to cap an excellent move.
UTD: Murrell, Stringfellow (Abbassi 70), Milner, Bennett, Kinch, Stanbridge (Stuart Bridges 66), Pearman (Howkins 54), Breward, Travers, Scott Bridges, Bryan. Not used: Peppiatt, Fitton
