A DEDDINGTON woman has been missing for a week and police are asking for help to find her.
Anita Allan, 29, who lives in Bull Ring, was reported missing by her family on July 15 and investigations have found she was last seen by friends the same day.

Missing persons co-ordinator Paul Garbett said: "Anita told friends she was thinking of going to Norfolk or Kent, but we also have information that she may have been in the Salford area of Manchester in recent days.

"She has been having personal problems recently, so we would like to contact Anita and confirm she is safe and well as soon as possible."

Anita is tall at 6ft 1ins, thin and has collar-length dark brown hair.

She is the second person to go missing from the village in just a few days - 13-year-old Tessa Stephens was found safe and well in Oxford on Saturday after last being seen on July 15.

Paul Garbett can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 08458 505505.

If you don't want to talk to police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555111.
