TELLY addicts may be unable to tune in from Wednesday as maintenance work goes ahead.
The company which manages technical changes to the Freeview platform will be making network enhancements in Berkshire, Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

The majority of homes will be unaffected but some early-manufactured digital boxes will stop working and viewers will need to replace their equipment to continue receiving the Freeview service.

More details including model numbers and photographs of the affected products are available at www.freeview.co.uk.

Owners of Daewoo, Portland and Bush branded digital boxes should call the appropriate number below for further assistance:

Daewoo & Portland: 0870 100 2525
Bush: 0871 230 1777
