These pub gardens and cafes with outdoor dining spaces will open from next week across the Banbury area
The Prime Minister confirmed at a press conference earlier this week the next step in the roadmap out of lockdown will go ahead as planned on April 12. This means that pubs, restaurants and cafes can reopen outdoors.
James Clarke, the managing director at The Hook Norton Brewery Co Ltd. which has more than dozen pubs reopening next week, said: "From our point of view, we are very pleased to be able to start reopening from next week. Lots of pubs have done lots of work to make their gardens even more inviting, and as weather protected as possible; as well as maintaining Covid security of course.

"It is important for customers to remember the rule of six applies (or two households) and it will be table service.
"It is certainly worth booking a table, especially if it looks like the weather will be kind, as once an area is full, it is full, as everyone has to be seated.
"We have all missed socialising and meeting people, and what better place than in the pub with a nice pint of local ale.

"It will be a bit different opening in April than July as last year, but this is a huge step towards regaining our lives and way of life. We all need to be patient, and make sure all the steps we take are forwards."
We have compiled a list of pubs, restaurants and cafes who have confirmed they will be opening with outside seating from next week.
We will be adding more venues to our confirmed list we get them. Please email Matt Elofson at [email protected] if you would like your business to be included.
