A closure notice was issued last month by Oxfordshire County Council after faults were found on Barford Bridge.

Oxfordshire County Council took the decision to close a section of Bloxham Road after recently observing deterioration of the bridge.

Barford Bridge, between Barford St John and Barford St Michael, has now reopened to vehicles subject to a 3 tonne weight limit and a 2 metre width limit.

Action was needed due to the large number of HGVs using the route and the risk of significant further damage.
