A primary school in Banbury has been forced to close its doors to certain year groups due to the high risk of snow and ice.

More snow has fallen across Banbury over night forcing the Hardwick Primary School to close reception, year two and year four classes for the day (March 10) as some of the staff have not been able to get to the school.

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice is in place for the area and is expected to last until midday.
